Masters
Format: Campus
Across a dynamic global economy, emerging markets are developing increasing significance. Our Master's degree focuses on the challenges faced in today's globalisation context, e.g. global governance in international business, business internationalisation, developing corporate strategy, attracting foreign direct investment and working in countries with different cultures, institutions, laws and business practices.
Students on the programme come from all over the world, looking for objective, in-depth insights into global business practice. The knowledge they gather helps them develop successful careers as consultants, managers or analysts in the broad arena of international business.
Your career
Our Masters in International Business and Emerging Markets provides a unique opportunity for students who, with diverse educational backgrounds/working experience, want to pursue careers as business consultants, managers and analysts in the broad arena of international business especially relating to emerging markets.
The programme may also be suitable for students from emerging economies who wish to bring themselves up to speed with contemporary thinking of corporate strategy including technology and financial management and business economics, and of public policies dealing with pressing issues relating to development in general.
An International experience:
The Business School itself benefits from a very diverse student intake in particular its MSc programmes with over 70 nationalities represented in 2018/19. This adds to the learning experience and also gives students the added benefit of a global alumni network. During the International Business & Emerging Markets programme students will also carry out a hands-on company project working with real business clients. Teams have in the past undertaken work on projects in a number of countries including: Brazil, China, India, Poland, Nigeria, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Russia. It is therefore no wonder that from the last International Business & Emerging Markets MSc programme, graduates have ended up finding work in over 20 different countries.
